Immigration was Issue #5 in our 2008 Utah
Priorities Poll
On a 1-5 scale, with 1 being “not at all concerned”
and 5 being “very concerned, 62% of those polled gave this
issue a 4 or 5. The average score for immigration was 3.83, indicating
significant concern. When follow-up questions were asked, respondents
were most concerned about undocumented immigrants’ access
to government services and impacts on crime and Utah’s schools.
