Environmental Quality was issue #8 in our
2008 Utah Priorities Poll
On a 1-5 scale, with 1 being “not at all concerned”
and 5 being “very concerned, 58% of those polled gave this
issue a 4 or 5. The average score for environmental issues was 3.69.
Within environmental issues, the topics of most concern to Utahns
were “Utah’s air quality” and the “health
effects of pollution.” Of least concern were the “effects
of global warming or climate change.” When asked about environmental
sub-issues, respondents were concerned about the following aspects
of environmental quality in order from greatest concern to least:
